MEDIA RELEASE

New Free Grants Portal to support Lake Mac business community

Dantia, Lake Macquarie City Council’s Economic Development Company, today launched Grant Guru, a localised grant portal to help local businesses, community groups, and not-for-profit organisations navigate the world of grant funding.

The web portal, established through a partnership with Grant Guru, provides instant access to Australia’s most comprehensive compilation of funding opportunities.

The online grant hub lists available funding opportunities and provides helpful advice on applying for grants to improve the applicant’s chance of success.

“There are a lot of great funding opportunities out there, but the process of finding and applying for grants can be quite daunting,” said Joshua Sattler, Dantia CEO.

“Many people need help where to start looking, don’t have time to search dozens of websites or find out about funding opportunities too late to put an application together.”

“The grant finder is an exciting, easy-to-use tool that alleviates some of these challenges and we encourage community groups, sports clubs, not-for-profit organisations and business to jump on board.”

Grant funding contributes to significant economic development in Lake Macquarie.

Using the grants portal makes finding and applying for grants easier. Grant Guru allows users to determine if they are eligible for funding. It also determines the likelihood of success and the required effort versus the potential rewards of applying.

Users can register for free and indicate what type of funding they want. The grants portal enables them to receive email alerts when relevant grants become available, ensuring they take advantage of every funding opportunity.

“The Dantia Grant Guru is about empowering our business community to secure funding to ultimately create new jobs and keep our region thriving. The fact that it’s free to use is a bonus”, Sattler added.

Lake Mac businesses can visit https://dantia.grantguru.com.au/ to register their business and browse available grants.
