It has been onwards and upwards for Lake Macquarie business Astalty after their successful win in the Outstanding Start Up category at the 2023 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards. Co-founder James Mooring said “it was great to receive the award for Outstanding Start up at the Lake Mac Business Excellence Awards, we have been able to leverage the win to help build our customer base”.
Astalty are a customer centric, technology-based company solving problems for customers navigating the complex work of the national Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This company is a unique, cloud based, software-as-a service provider client management system, available on all devices providing easy access and storage of information, case notes, invoices, and reporting functions.

Astalty have gone from strength to strength since the awards. “In July 2023, we had around 700 users and we are now approaching 2,000 active daily users. We have also grown to a team of 5 which has significantly increased our ability to deliver innovate solutions at a rapid pace” James said. “In addition we have increased the value of invoice processing from $200,000 per week in July 2023 to over $2.5 million week now”.
Astalty identified their target market early through their own frustration working in the NDIS system allowing a deep understanding of the pain points and challenges and how their organisation can assist. Astalty’s value proposition combines a premium service and exceptional customer support with competitive pricing, aiming to streamline business processes for their customers.
Another key challenge for Astalty is marketing and brand awareness. “We spend a lot of time building and maintaining relationships with our customers, investing time and effort into our network and iterating our offering based on the feedback we receive” said James.
“One of the benefits of the awards is the promotion you receive after a win, being known as award winning all helps”.
Dantia wishes Astalty every success as they continue to grow and thrive in Lake Macquarie and beyond.
