To ensure Dantia can continue to work with business, government, the community and partners to advance the sustainable economic prosperity of Lake Macquarie City, we are currently seeking a Operations Coordinator to generate outcomes in relation to technology, research, compliance, project management and operations.
The uniqueness of this newly created position lies in the opportunity to support the development of Lake Macquarie City as a truly livable city, where people choose to invest, work, settle, play, rest and thrive.
Working directly with the CEO, the success of this position is founded in anticipation not delegation. It will rely on your ability to think and act ahead of the business and its stakeholders; supporting the executive team day-to-day to achieve their objectives, implementing and maintaining best practice business improvement and technology initiatives, managing external consultant relationships, and delivering seamless governance including board administration, reporting on partnerships, and project initiatives.
Dantia is the economic development company for Lake Macquarie City. As an innovative organisation in the Australian revitalisation and development landscape, Dantia has been assigned the stewardship to lead, grow and build the economic base which is essential to create an enduring foundation for a livable city.
The organisation values collaboration, innovation and change. It is leading the conversation on local economic development in an inclusive and transparent way, providing networks and pathways for success. It embraces growth opportunities and benchmarks itself against best practice corporate governance measures.
Our ideal candidate will offer the resume of a true whole of business and executive support professional with relevant qualifications, experience and a genuine appreciation for the value that economic growth offers our community.
You will be a self-motivated individual who thrives in a busy environment, working on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously; one that holds itself accountable to its values and strategic plan, and is open to progressive ideas and change. You will have an engaging nature, a stakeholder-centered mindset, and display the highest degree of professionalism across all aspects of your work.
When describing your experience you will tell a compelling story of an innate commitment to continuous improvement and entrepreneurial problem solving in a complex environment. You will present examples of how you have influenced people to create positive change at an operational level, and share with us your conceptual understanding of commercial, economic and government contexts.
