Lake Macquarie City Council has released their draft Community Strategic Plan for 2017-2027. With almost $610 million worth of development approved in the City last year and a forecast spend of $111 million on capital works in 2017-2018, the next decade is already on the path to a prosperous environment for jobs growth and investment.

In addition to tourism and identity, objectives will focus on start-ups, small and medium businesses; assisting the capacity of key industries to change and adapt; supporting businesses to adopt new technologies for growth; and, identifying and aiming to resolve constraints on economic growth for developers and investors.

We believe the future is looking bright indeed!
